This Privacy Policy of RODEWAX SRL, with registered office at Via Berga 3, Asiago VI (Data Controller), aims to provide full clarification on the policy adopted by the company regarding the processing of users' personal data relating to the services provided by RODEWAX SRL via the websites RODEWAX.COM / RODEWAX.IT.
RODEWAX SRL takes the protection of privacy, i.e., the confidentiality of its users' personal data, very seriously. The principles outlined below underpin the processing of users' personal data by RODEWAX SRL. Data will be collected only when necessary and in accordance with applicable law. RODEWAX SRL will always provide clear information regarding the use made of your personal data and will always be transparent with users regarding the data collected, how it is used, with whom it is shared, and the office to contact for any inquiries.
RODEWAX SRL takes all necessary measures to protect user data from misuse and to process it securely, complying with all applicable privacy laws and regulations, cooperating with data protection authorities, and acting, in any case, in accordance with generally recognized principles regarding personal data protection.
At any time, the user may exercise the rights set forth in Articles 15 et seq. of EU Regulation 679/2016, including the right to obtain from the data controller access to their personal data and the right to rectification or erasure of such data, restriction of processing concerning them, or to object, for legitimate reasons, to their processing, as well as the right to data portability. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT
Browsing Data The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information, by its very nature, could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow computers connecting to the site to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the Website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server response (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment. This data may be made available to judicial authorities to ascertain liability in the event of unlawful acts committed through the website or computer crimes against the website.
Data provided voluntarily by Users The optional, explicit, and voluntary submission of personal data to access specific services or to make requests for information through the Website's dedicated channels entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's personal data included in the requests, which are necessary to respond to them. You may choose not to provide your data, but in that case, RODEWAX SRL may not be able to fulfill your requests, in whole or in part (e.g., registration on the RODEWAX.IT website).
Data relating to unregistered users The information generated by users who visit the RODEWAX.IT website without being registered (or, even if registered, who do not have an active session), and used to allow the user optimal navigation of the website, for statistical analysis, and for the personalization of content – including advertising – may be used by RODEWAX SRL, at different times, to supplement the information provided by the user at the time of registration. Registered User Data RODEWAX SRL uses technologies that allow it, by querying an ID (in alphanumeric form), to track the browsing behavior of registered users who access the site from various browsers or devices (e.g., computers, tablets, smartphones). This allows it to present these users with products similar to those viewed or purchased, regardless of the browser or device used at the time. When registered users consent to the processing of their data for direct marketing purposes, RODEWAX SRL may process data relating to their transactions and views on RODEWAX.IT to inform them via email that products they have placed in their cart but not yet purchased are still available (allowing them to complete their purchase quickly and securely) or to offer them the same or similar products via email (remarketing). When registered users consent to the processing of their data for profiling purposes, RODEWAX SRL may process data related to their consumer choices (i.e., the subject of purchases and amounts spent) to tailor the commercial offering as closely as possible to their profile and needs.
Payment data Regarding payment data, RODEWAX SRL only receives feedback on the payment status (successful/rejected) from digital payment companies and credit card payment processors. All prepaid card (such as PayPal) or credit card details are stored by the entities managing the relevant service, which are not authorized to use the personal data received via RODEWAX.IT for other purposes.
3 - DATA PROCESSING AND USER CONSENT RODEWAX SRL will only collect, use, or disclose users' personal data in full compliance with the law. In most cases, RODEWAX SRL will ask for explicit consent; in some cases, consent may be inferred from their actions and behavior. RODEWAX SRL may ask users to provide additional consent if it needs to use their personal data for purposes not stated in this Privacy Policy. Providing such consent is not mandatory, but failure to do so may prevent the user from participating in specific activities.
4 - PLACE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING The processing operations related to the Website services take place at the aforementioned headquarters of RODEWAX SRL and are handled only by personnel in charge of data processing, or by persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations. Data collected from the Site may be disclosed to technological and instrumental partners used by the Data Controller to provide the services requested by users. Personal data provided by users who submit requests for information (sending informational materials, answers to questions, etc.) or other communications (e.g., orders) are also made available to third parties appointed as Data Processors and used by them solely to perform the requested service and only when necessary for that purpose (provision of the requested services through the technological and instrumental partner, e.g., courier).
5 - PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING RODEWAX SRL may use users' personal data to examine the use of the Site, products, and services, analyze the effectiveness of our advertising, promotions, and contests, personalize the site experience, and review (in anonymous and aggregate form) statistics relating to website activity, simplify use of the site and better tailor it to the user's interests and choices, streamline future activities and experiences on the site, and contact users regarding products and services that may interest them, subject to their consent. RODEWAX SRL may use users' personal data to suggest products or services that may interest them and offer them the opportunity to participate in contests or promotions. Users may opt out of receiving communications from RODEWAX SRL at any time. Each direct marketing communication sent by RODEWAX SRL will provide the information and means necessary to opt out. User data may be used to provide products or services requested by users.
6 – RETENTION PERIOD The data retention period depends on the purpose of the service requested by the user and the ongoing processing. RODEWAX SRL will not retain personal information longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was processed, including the security of our processing in compliance with regulatory and legal obligations (e.g., auditing, accounting, and legal or tax retention periods).
7 – USER RIGHTS At any time, pursuant to Articles 15 to 22 of EU Regulation No. 2016/679, the user may exercise the right to:
a) request confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her exist;
b) obtain information regarding the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, and, where possible, the retention period;
c) obtain rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing;
d) lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
e) obtain data portability, i.e., receive the data from a data controller in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and transmit the data to another data controller without hindrance;
f) object to processing at any time, including for direct marketing purposes;
g) object to automated individual decision-making, including profiling.
h) withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;
